(Supported by Patuharakeke Te Iwi Trust Board, Ministry for the Environment and Victoria University)

Kia ora e te whānau,

We are seeking expressions of interest for a three day wānanga (two nights) for our rangatahi of Patuharakeke between the ages of 14 - 18. The purpose of the wānanga is to strengthen rangatahi identity and sense of belonging.

This is scheduled to run at Takahiwai marae, with visits to some of Patuharakeke sites of significance. Kai will be provided throughout the wānanga.

A gear list and agenda will be available once you register your interest.

We invite you to talk to your rangatahi about their interests in attending. You can register using the form attached.
What else you need to know:

● There will be adult supervision present at all times.
● This wānanga and korero collated, will also contribute to research towards a Master of Indigenous Studies by Alyssa Thomas.
● There will be information sheets and consent forms to be signed before the wananga commences.
